All I can say is YUMMY! I was excited the day the South’nFrance Hand-Dipped Chocolate Bon Bons arrived. So excited, I hurriedly opened the white tin to squeal with delight at the beautiful display of chocolate pleasure. As a child and even now if I had the opportunity I loved going on an Easter egg hunt. My immediate reaction to opening the box was reminiscing of the beautiful, brightly colored eggs. The packaging was simply divine. The bright, bold colors stimulated my eyes and enticed my mind. Surely anyone would love to receive these Bon Bon beauties as a gift for any occasion, romantic or otherwise.
I had the pleasure of sampling each of the flavors South’nFrance offers. Apparently I have never had a real Bon Bon before. At first I expected to bite into a truffle like treat, and to my surprise I found a much lighter center inside the delicate chocolate shell. They even explain what a Bon Bon is here. Flavors included: Coconut, Pistachio, Cookies ‘n Cream, Peanut Buttah, Fudge Brownie, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, and Cafe’ Au Lait. Each flavor had a distinct taste and wonderful texture. Very clean, not too rich, just a perfect treat for your taste buds. My favs were Fudge Brownie and Coconut but with every other flavor as a close second! By the way, my gluten-free girlfriends not to worry. South’nFrance offer 4 gluten-free delectable flavors: Cafe’ Au Lait, Peanut Buttah, Pistachio and Coconut.
Another fabulously fun offering from South’nFrance are their Bon Bon and Champagne Parties. You learn the art of making… and more importantly, eating… bon bons. Plus, at the end of your party, you get to take home your own delicious batch of South ‘n France bon bons to enjoy at home. The only problem is that they are in Wilmington, NC…do you think I can entice them to do a party for me in Portland, OR?
